If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Wilkes-Barre and Pennsylvania, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Wilkes-Barre is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Wilkes-Barre is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Portions were huge, taste was okay, service was fast. Probably the best Ecuadorian food you’ll have around, but not the best you’ll ever have. Decent prices, gratuity included regardless of party size. They didn’t have a lot of the things that were on the menu, no weekend specials (on the weekend), no empanadas (which was looking forward to).

This is a comfy casual spot right next to the Kirby Center, so super convenient for a meal before a show. Don't be fooled by the donuts sign above the entrance - amazing Ecuadoran food awaits you inside! We had the empanada de verde (pollo), which is made with plantains, and it was just outstanding, as were the many sauces that were offered to go with it. We also had pechuga a la plancha - which was moist, tender, and flavorful - with some of the best beans I've ever eaten and maduros which were also fantastic. Happy hour margarita was just $5 and it was both very very good and beautifully presented. Our waitress was Jessenia, who was gracious and efficient as well as friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is extremely high for the price, and we would definitely choose to eat here again when we are back in Wilkes-Barre.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed our food. The Empanada de Queso were so good! They had just the right amount of cheese. The Empanada de Pollo are made out of plantains and were a whole other flavor than we're used to. We really liked them. The rice was delicious, and the portion was huge. The drinks taste like they have a lot of cinnamon in them and were very refreshing. I definitely recommend trying this place. I love trying new food, and my first time trying Equadorian food was a great experience. Thanks for the great service.
